V Rising Boss Order Planner
Reviewed on August 10, 2026. Pick the blocker that feels true right now. The planner will recommend the best first guide and the safer second click.
Use this when
You know a boss matters but you do not yet know which unlock should come first.
Quick answer
Choose the blocker that changes the save fastest, then open the boss or progression page that solves that exact problem.
Stop when
The next boss is already named and the route fit is clear enough to use.
What is blocking the save?
| Signal | Recommended first page | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Unclear progression | Boss Order | Use unlock value instead of guessing from boss names. |
| Quarry/Sulphur pressure | Clive | Clive connects boss progress to the Sulphur route. |
| Leather/Tannery blocker | Tanner unlock | The real problem is a workstation path, not only a fight. |
| Whetstone/crafting blocker | Grayson | Grayson ties the route to steadier early crafting progress. |
| Iron transition | Iron route | Iron is often a readiness test before more boss pushing. |
The Planner Chooses by Blocker, Not by Boss Level Alone
A boss can be technically available and still be the wrong next move. This planner starts from what the player is trying to fix: Sulphur access, Leather production, Whetstone stability, Iron readiness, or travel friction.
Unlock value first
The recommended page should explain what the boss changes after the kill. If the reward does not unlock a station, material route, weapon step, or travel improvement, the fight may be a distraction.
Route readiness second
The planner assumes that a useful boss route is small enough to survive. If normal enemies, daylight, or the return path already break the run, fix route support before forcing the boss.
Side value matters
Good boss trips often pay off twice. Clive can connect to Sulphur, Grayson to Whetstone, and Keely to Leather. The guide should name that second value before the player leaves base.
Do Not Force a Boss Just Because the Tool Picked It
The result is a first recommendation, not a command. If the guide does not match the save, use the linked fallback pages to strengthen the route before trying again.
| If this is true | Pause bossing and check | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Normal enemies drain too much healing | Beginner Guide | The route is not stable enough to judge the boss yet. |
| The reward does not solve the current craft | Resources | The material or station path may be the real blocker. |
| The trip home is the hardest part | Waygate Guide | The boss route may be fine while travel planning is weak. |
Use the Linked Guide for Screenshot Proof
This tool does not move any proof slot from pending to connected. It helps choose the first page to read. The linked boss or progression guide still needs its own route screenshot, unlock confirmation, and next-review trigger before the advice becomes site-tested proof.
Use This Planner Before a Session, Not After Every Small Choice
The planner is most useful at the start of a play session when the save has a real direction problem. Once it points to a guide, stop using the tool and follow the linked page long enough to test the route. If the attempt fails, return to the planner only after naming the failure: route pressure, missing material, weak gear, bad travel, or unclear reward value. That keeps the tool from becoming another browsing loop.
Example: if the tool recommends Clive but the quarry entrance already drains healing, the next useful action is not repeating Clive blindly. Check the Sulphur route, repair the early base loop, or use Boss Order to confirm the unlock is actually worth pushing now.
Two Boss Decisions This Planner Is Meant to Solve
These examples make the tool less abstract. Pick the one closest to the save, then use the linked page as the real checklist.
Leather blocker vs. random boss pushing
If the player keeps losing time because Leather production is missing, the first useful page is the Tanner unlock path. A nearby boss that gives no workstation progress should wait until the Leather loop is stable.
Sulphur blocker vs. early combat confidence
If Sulphur, explosives, or quarry pressure is the real bottleneck, Clive becomes more valuable because the trip can answer both a boss question and a material question. If the quarry approach is the failure, open the resource route before repeating the fight.
Iron blocker vs. another unlock hunt
When Iron is the wall, forcing another boss can waste a session. The better move is often one disciplined mine trip, then a boss check after the gear or crafting payoff is actually banked.
What This Boss Tool Does Not Know
This planner does not read a save file, inventory, blood type, equipment level, server rules, mods, or screenshots. It only turns a named blocker into the most useful next guide. If the recommendation feels wrong, the likely missing context is world rules, current gear, route safety, or a material chain that has not been named yet.
After using it, open Server Rule Fit Checker if the world is modded or custom, Resource Route Finder if the route is a material problem, or Beginner Guide if normal enemies are still the main failure point.
